After stair-stepping its way to completion, MacArthur was finally a four year high school in 1966-67! The first four classes that graduated paved the way and set the traditions that left a legacy for all future Cardinals! It's time that these four classes celebrate and re-live their youth, if only for a moment! Mark your calendars for October 10-11 as we re-assemble for revelry and recognition. Back to Mac Reunion Dance!

Send in your reservation for the Saturday night "Back to Mac Reunion Dance" by August 18, 2003. This is the big event that wraps up a busy weekend. And the only event that requires pre-payment. Tickets are $50/single or $75/couple. Prices after August 18 with a deadline of September 18 will be $60/single and $85/couple. Tickets will be available at the door for $75/single and $95/couple. For your convenience, you may pre-pay by check, MasterCard, Visa, or American Express. Your order form is enclosed. This night promises to take you back to your youth!

Fullback, Halfback, FLASHBACK!

If you still have that old school spirit, show up at the Irving ISD Stadium for MacArthur's homecoming game versus South Grand Prairie H.S. Committee Members will greet you at 6:00. Look for the special reunion tent and visit with old friends. Tickets may be purchased at the ticket sales window. Ask for admission in the block of seats reserved for the MacArthur Reunion! The game starts at 7:00 Friday night, but arrive early to visit with old classmates! A block of seats will be reserved so we oldies can show the young Cards what REAL school spirit is all about! WHO ARE THE CARDINALS? WE ARE THE CARDINALS! WHAT KIND OF CARDINALS? THE MIGHTY FIGHTING CARDINALS!

Strikes and Spares...

Burned out on football, but looking for a little diversion? Committee members will greet you Friday night at Don Carter Bowling Lanes in Dallas at 7:00 pm.

Cards After Hours

Not tired yet? Good! After the Mighty Fightin' Cards have retired from the field, and all the bowling pins have been knocked down, meet for a late night gathering at the DFW Harvey Hotel lobby bar Friday night. This is an unreserved event that requires no commitment, but promises to be an interesting wind down to a great evening! Karaoke anyone??

Pack a picnic - Tour MacArthur High School

Sleep late, drink some strong coffee, and re-energize! Be ready to meet your classmates at the MacArthur High School track bleachers Saturday for a picnic lunch around noon. Bring your entire family. At least bring pictures! Pack a picnic (please no alcohol on school property), bring baseball bats, balls and gloves for a game, and just chill as you swap stories about your life! We'll even take a tour of the school after lunch. Talk about a BLAST TO THE PAST!!!!!!

DFW Harvey Hotel Hosts Returning Cardinals

Make your reservation at the DFW Harvey Hotel if you plan to come from out of town, or if you just want to get away! The hotel is located at 4545 W. John Carpenter Fwy (Hwy 114), Irving, Tx. Call for reservations at (972) 929-4500. Tell them that you are with the MacArthur Reunion to get the special rate of $79.

The Main Event!

Need a nap after the picnic? Okay, just a short one! Now get up and get dressed for the big night. It's time for the Back to Mac Reunion Dance Saturday evening. Dress however you are most comfortable! Business casual is great! Jeans and boots are great! After Five dresses and suits are great! Be YOU! You will be greeted at the doors of the Trinity Ballroom of the DFW Harvey Hotel at 7:00. Your paid reservation will be recorded and you will be enthusiastically admitted. Tickets will be available at the door as previously noted. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. Don't snack too much before arriving! There will be plenty of food. A cash bar will be available to quench your thirst. Wholly Smokes, a great band that plays a wide variety of music, will get you out of your seats and onto the dance floor! Get ready to step up to the mike and share your special high school memories! There will also be a silent auction. Credit cards will be accepted for payment should you win a bid. Auction profits will fund a scholarship for a deserving MacArthur senior. If you would like to donate items for the auction, complete the information on the reservation page.The memories of this evening will rival your memories of Senior Prom!
